The Brontë Parsonage Museum,
Yorkshire
The Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth is located on the wild Yorkshire moors. Exposed to the natural elements, there is an unusual and powerful atmosphere; rooks cry in the graveyard, the church clock chimes the hour, the wind howls across the moors and footsteps clatter on the rain-lashed cobbles. The soundbox neuron unit is installed in the Parsonage garden, where visitors can access the project (even during the museum's annual closed period in January) and discover the sounds of the Brontë landscape.
