Newlyn Art Gallery presents contemporary international, national and regional art in all media. The programme includes emerging artists' projects, live art events and education activities. In July 2007 it opened a second larger venue, The Exchange in the centre of Penzance, as well as major refurbishment and extension to the original gallery. The Fragmented Orchestra is located on the panoramic window of the gallery's events and education space, The Studio. The view takes in Newlyn harbour, Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and the harbour of Penzance.
